St Cedds School

WHEN St Cedd's School in Chelmsford decided to update its prospectus and
website it realised it needed a dynamic design which was a true reflection of what the school had to offer. The school had previously worked with photographer Daniel Martin and had been so impressed by his images that they decided to contact his design consultancy Martin and Jones.

Their demands were simple. Jan Ullmer, publicity manager for the school, said: "When looking to update our prospectus and website, we wanted something that was modern, original, accessible and informative."

As discussions progressed, the school was as drawn to the design team as they had been to the photography. The end result is a product of which both groups are justifiably proud, Ms Ullmer said: "The team had lots of ideas and new ways of portraying the school, and the results exceeded our expectations."

"The photography is superb and the design is unique to our school - what we've got is a real snapshot of school life. There is a clear theme running through the prospectus and website that identifies and defines the school. We've only had positive feedback and the website is proving to be a useful source of direct applications."
